A major European supplier of salad need an Operations Manager for the site in Murcia. You will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for leadership & management of the Ops Team. This is a senior role, potentially leading to a Board appointment. You must have excellent people management skills, commercial awareness, & experience of growing crops. You will need to have excellent financial understanding and good IT skills. Main duties involve planting, drilling, growing and harvesting of crops, improvement & development of production and growing techniques. You will also have Health & Safety accountability for safe condition and the use of the site and equipment. The ability to speak Spanish would be advantageous but not essential. Very competitive salary, company car, healthcare etc and excellent career prospects.
