*Maintenance of plating baths to ensure that plating process is in control & chemical storage facility and responsible for inventory of chemicals.
*Operational control of gold consumption during gold plating and mgmt of gold recovery and scrap sales on a monthly basis.
*Mgmt of chemical waste disposal by ensuring that all waste are disposed according to legal requirements.
*Manage all EHS related activities for plating department, with special efforts on risk assessments, documentation, licensing, control of hazardous substances and coordination of training.
*Maintenance of lab and safety equipment to ensure all equipments are in working order and calibrated.
*Liaise with government officers for site-inspection on plating department’s waste discharges and work safety.
*Perform any duty assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
*Diploma in Chemical Engineering
*Experience in performing titration processes & operating lab equipment |
