| We are looking for a motivated, passionate and self-starting Animator, trained in Maya and who has a strong understanding of traditional animation principles and techniques. The Animator must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with an established production pipeline, and be open to direction and changes. He/she must have proven storytelling skills, and be able to use acting skills to bring character models to life, and be able to clearly communicate simple ideas with which an audience can empathize. He/she should have a degree or certificate in animation, film, or related field, and a minimum of 2 years production animation experience. He/she must have a demoreel that demonstrates application of the principles of animation to tell a story with meaning through movement, as well as an art portfolio, which shows a thorough understanding of physical motion, weight and balance. Traditional art background is a big plus. |
